Eggnog Bread

For your bread machine. A little taste of the holidays any time of the year.

3/4 cup milk (room temp.)
2 egg yolks
1 egg
2 tbsp brandy
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup liquid honey
2 tbsp butter (room temp) (1/4 stick)
2 3/4 cups all purpose flour or bread flour
1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp bread machine or instant yeast
3/4 cup cranberries

Measure all ingredients except cranberries into baking pan in the order listed.
Select Sweet Cycle.
Add cranberries at the “add ingredient” signal.

Note: For a more conventional looking loaf, just use the Dough cycle. Transfer bread to floured surface, knead and place in greased loaf pan. Let rise for 45 – 60 minutes. Bake in 350F oven for 30 minutes.

Enjoy warm bread from your oven!
